Shipping and Delivery

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT FREIGHT SHIPMENTS (When items are too large to ship UPS or FedEx Ground)

- Note that freight deliveries are usually made using 53' tractor-trailers. Please make sure there is adequate access at the delivery site for a truck of this size
- It is recommended that you select lift-gate service if you need to have the freight be brought to ground level. Otherwise, you will be required to unload the freight from the tailgate of the truck by hand. If you are not able to do so, you will be responsible for any charges associated with the carrier providing extra services such as lift-gate service, inside delivery or a return trip to your site.
- Most freight will arrive on pallets. However, if you do not have a forklift and did not request liftgate service, you may unpack the pallet in the truck to unload one box at a time as long as this is done in a timely fashion
- If you need to be contacted by the carrier prior to delivery to schedule a specific day/window, you must specify this in your quote request so it is included in your quote. If this is selected, please note that delivery must be scheduled within 2-3 days of receiving appointment phone call or carrier storage charges fees may apply.

Returns
Since most School Furniture is "Made-to-Order" including specific colors and finish combinations, we cannot accept returms on these types of items.  Signature School Products reserves the right to determine whether or not a product can be returned on a case-by-case basis. Product that is normally stocked by Signature School Products or a manufacturer/distributer and is in new condition in its original packaging MAY be eligible for a return but the customer is responsible for the original shipping charges, shipping expense to return product(s) as well as any restocking fees if charged by a 3rd party manufacture/distributer.  Returns/replacements of products that arrive damaged or different from what was ordered will be replaced as long as these issues are reported within a one week time frame from the time the delivery is made. Please see our Receiving Instructions for more information.

Changes
